Description

Appendices describe methods for assessing the acid content, corrosion potential and degree of foaming.

Scope

This Standard specifies requirements for acidic detergents intended for use in the cleaning of milking and dairy factory equipment.
NOTE: These detergents may be corrosive to metals other than stainless steel and could also adversely affect plastics.
