Within the scope of this European Standard is a description of components and their use. In particular, these components relate to the following sub-domains: – Analysable objects: including samples, body parts, x-rays and other study products, together with their collection and properties. – Clinical information: including observations, patient conditions, procedures, medication treatment, investigations, counselling plus how these items are organised within a record. – Medicinal products: including appliances, dosage regimes,etc. – Routing aspects of medication treatment or other procedures. Care Service information: including referrals for care services, care encounter information and scheduling.
