The main objective of this PWI is to define a NeTEx European profile(s): – that could be used at European level for a plug and play exchange between organizations of different states, – covering, as a minimum, the main scope of passenger information for European wide travel (in order to answer to the expectation of the priority Action "A" of the ITS Directive, especially for item "Accessibility, exchange and reuse of static travel and traffic data", item "Data Update", and item "Assessment of compliance" of the priority action), – that could be implemented in validation and quality assessment tools (therefore associated with compliance checking rules), – taking into account already existing NeTEx profiles defined at national level (Norway, France, Germany, etc.).
