Feuerverzinken ist ein Prozess, bei dem Bauteile aus Stahl durch Eintauchen in eine Zinkschmelze mit einem Zinküberzug versehen werden. Mit diesen Zinküberzügen werden die Erzeugnisse dauerhaft vor Korrosion geschützt. Diese Richtlinie gilt für Anlagen, in denen Eisen- und Stahlerzeugnisse durch Feuerverzinken gegen Korrosion geschützt werden. Dabei kann es sich z. B. um Bleche, Rohre, Drähte, Stahlleitplanken, Masten, Stahlkonstruktionen oder Kleinteile handeln Auf die für den Bau und Betrieb der Anlagen insbesondere geltenden Gesetze, Verordnungen, Verwaltungs- und sonstige Vorschriften wird hingewiesen. Alle Volumenangaben für Gase in dieser Richtlinie beziehen sich auf den Normzustand (273 K, 1013 mbar) nach Abzug des Wasserdampfanteils. Auf Ausnahmen wird besonders hingewiesen.*www.vdi.de/2579
