ESDU 89019 tabulates density and molar volume for 49 aromatic hydrocarbons in the range C6 to C10 (in units of kg/cu m and cu cm/mol respectively) from near the melting point to within a few degrees of the critical point. The temperature interval chosen is varied from 10 K to 1 K to keep the increments in density reasonably small. The data were obtained by fitting an equation to experimental data for density for each compound taken from a wide range of sources in the literature; values established for the constants in the equation for each compound are also tabulated. An estimate of the accuracy of the prediction is included for each value tabulated, the sources of data are listed for each compound, and values at the critical point are provided together with normal boiling and melting points.
