This European Standard specifies the requirements for measurement of electrical, photometric, and colorimetric quantities of LED lamps, modules, light engines and luminaires, for operation with AC or DC supply voltages, possibly with associated control gear. Photometric and colorimetric quantities covered in this standard include total luminous flux, luminous efficacy, partial luminous flux, luminous intensity distribution, centre-beam intensities, luminance and luminance distribution, chromaticity coordinates, correlated color temperature (CCT), Color Rendering Index (CRI), and spatial uniformity of chromaticity. This standard does not cover LED packages and products based on OLEDs (organic LEDs). NOTE Where the term “LED product, LED device or DUT (device under test)” is used, the term covers LED lamps, modules, light engines or luminaires.<\/p>\n
