{"id":311174,"date":"2024-10-19T21:23:01","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T21:23:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-en-130672012\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T19:14:09","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T19:14:09","slug":"bs-en-130672012","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-en-130672012\/","title":{"rendered":"BS EN 13067:2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This European Standard specifies the method of testing the knowledge and skill of a welder who is required to carry out welds on thermoplastics in new constructions and repair work.<\/p>\n<p>The skill examination of a welder is an essential condition for the assurance of the quality of the welding work.<\/p>\n<p>The application of this standard guarantees that the examination is carried out according to a uniform test procedure.<\/p>\n<p>This European Standard applies when the contractor or the authorities responsible for the application require it.<\/p>\n<p>Gas and water utility network industries with alternative qualification programmes are excluded from this standard.<\/p>\n<p>This European Standard applies to the following welding processes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>hot gas welding: round nozzle, high speed nozzle, wedge;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>extrusion welding;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>heated tool welding: butt, saddle, socket, wedge;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>electrofusion welding: socket, saddle;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>solvent welding: socket.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This European Standard applies to the welding of the following products:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>sheet;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>pipe;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>fittings;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>lining membrane.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This European Standard covers the welding of the following groups of materials:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:lower-alpha\">\n<li>\n<p>for sheets, pipes and fittings:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>group 1: PVC (including all kinds of PVC-U, PVC-C), ABS;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>group 2: PP (including all kinds of PP);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>group 3: PE (including all kinds of PE);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>group 4: PVDF;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>group 5: ECTFE or PFA or FEP;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>for lining membranes:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>group 6: PVC-P;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>group 7: PE (including all kinds of PE);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>group 8: ECB;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>group 9: PP.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Plastics welding personnel.
