Details of information to be obtained by the contractor are also specified (see Appendix A). <br \/> NOTE 1 The term \u201ctextile floor covering\u201d is applicable to carpeting in roll, sheet and modular (tile and plank) form. <br \/> NOTE 2 Manufacturer\u2019s instructions take precedence over the requirements of this Standard. If no manufacturer installation instructions are available, relevant provisions of the Standard should be followed. <br \/> NOTE 3 Installation methods for specialized products, (e.g. impervious backed carpets) are not covered by this Standard.
