This TSB<br \/>\ncharacterizes the crosstalk coupling between 4-pair category 6<br \/>\ncabling in close proximity (referred to as alien crosstalk) and<br \/>\nprovides additional guidelines for field test equipment and field<br \/>\ntest methods and alien crosstalk mitigation. It also provides<br \/>\nguidelines on internal parameter mitigation. These guidelines<br \/>\nprovide additional information on the extended frequency<br \/>\ntransmission performance expected of category 6 cabling from 250<br \/>\nMHz to 500 MHz. The transmission parameter recommendations included<br \/>\nherein provide a means to assess installations of category 6<br \/>\ncabling, as specified in ANSI\/TIA-568-C.2, up to and including 500<br \/>\nMHz and for the additional parameters necessary to support<br \/>\n10GBASE-T.
